Children's Liturgy of the Word
Every 2nd and 4th Sunday during the 9:30AM Mass we host CLOW gatherings. Children ages 5-8 (Kinder-3rd grade) are invited to join us in the chapel after the opening prayer to experience the Liturgy of the Word. They will hear the readings, pray with others, and the ministry leaders will break open the word so that they can understand it at a developmentally appropriate level. Parents of little ones are welcome to join. Save the dates for the next two CLOW gatherings: January 26th and February 9th.
We would like to grow our team to include three adults and three teens for each Sunday. Interested in joining this ministry? Please contact Eileen Hubbard for information at ehubbard@saintedward.org.
Let Us Pray...
We have over 100 children and teens who have been preparing to celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation. And we have over 70 teens who have been preparing to celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation. These sacramental celebrations will take place this month.
Let us unite our hearts and pray for each of these parishioners that they may encounter Jesus Christ in new and intimate ways. May their hearts be opened to the sacramental graces that they will receive and may they be strengthened as they grow as disciples of Jesus Christ.
KofC Free Throw Competition
It is time for the annual Knights of Columbus Council 14512 free throw competition and there is no cost to compete. See all the details below!

Where: St. Edward Gym
Who: Boys and Girls 9-14 (age as of Jan 1st)
A copy of their birth certificate is required.
Time: Registration at 9:00AM with council competition at 9:30AM
We are pleased to welcome Anita Steiner as the new Bookkeeper for St. Edward Catholic Church and School. With an impressive 30 years of accounting experience within the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, Anita brings a wealth of knowledge to our community. Most recently she served as the bookkeeper at Christ the Good Shepherd in Spring. Originally hailing from Wichita, Kansas, Anita made her home in Katy, Texas in 1991. In her free time, she loves creating cherished memories with her children and grandchildren. Join us in welcoming Anita to our parish family!

March 25, 2025 marks the 30th anniversary of Evangelium Vitae, The Gospel of Life, written by Pope Saint John Paul II which “reaffirms the value and inviolability of every human life and to appeal to all people to respect, protect, love, and serve every human life.” (USCCB)
