On December 27th, Fr. Thomas Joseph fulfilled 30 years of bringing God's word to all.
We the people of St. Edward will thank Fr. Thomas and celebrate his faithful ministry on January 12, 2025 (Hospitality Sunday) in the PLC after the 7:30AM, 9:30AM and 11:30AM morning Masses. The 5:30PM Saturday and 5:00pm Sunday Masses can leave their cards and good wishes on the table in the Narthex.
January 5th is also Fr. Thomas' birthday. More reason for rejoicing!
Evangelization & Catechesis
Magnifikid
Due to a generous donation, we are providing a copy of MagnifiKid for children to use during Mass and to take home. This is a wonderful resource for families to have during the week to reflect upon the Mass, the readings, and continue to keep the faith alive throughout the week. Be sure to get your child’s copy when you join us for Mass over the weekend.
Men's Retreat
Start the new year by going on retreat and encountering Jesus Christ through prayer, silence, and learning more about being a Jubilant pilgrim.
Experience the Jubilee Retreat with other men from St. Edward. Join us on January 10th-12th at Holy Name Passionist Retreat Center and explore what it means to become Jubilant Pilgrims. JUBILATE DEO!

Children's Liturgy of the Word
This Sunday during the 9:30 AM Mass, we will host our next CLOW gathering. Children ages 5-8 (Kinder-3rd grade) are invited to join us in the chapel after the opening prayer to experience the Liturgy of the Word. They will hear the readings, pray with others, and the ministry leaders will break open the word so that they can understand it at a developmentally appropriate level. Parents of little ones are welcome to join. Save the dates for the next two: January 12th and January 26th.

January Senior Saints Meeting
All those 50 years of age and young at heart are invited to join us for our first Senior Saints Meeting of the New Year on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 in the Parish Life Center (PLC).
9:30AM: Fellowship with coffee and donuts
10:00AM: Meeting with information on upcoming activities and Senior Saints outings. After the meeting we will play bingo!

Join Us for the "Back the Track" Awareness Run
We invite you to participate in the "Back the Track" Awareness Run hosted by the St. Edward Athletics Booster Club and the St. Edward Run Club on January 4, 2025. This event is designed to raise awareness about our efforts to enhance the church and school track and field facilities. During the run, we will share important details about our goals and the steps needed to achieve them.
Come enjoy a wonderful morning filled with running, community spirit, and delicious hot cocoa! Your support is vital as we work together to improve our athletic facilities for everyone. We look forward to seeing you there!

Chalk Your Doors for the
Feast of the Epiphany
Partake in this time-honored Epiphany tradition by chalking your door lintel with the formula 20+C+M+B+25. The CMB hold two meanings, the first being the initials of the Magi: Caspar, Malchior, and Balthazar. Secondly, it is the abbreviation for the Latin phrase, christus mansionem benedicat, which translates to, "May Christ bless this house." The "+" represent the sign of the cross and the "20" at the beginning and "25" at the end tell us the year. We do this as a way to ask God to bless our home and all who dwell in it throughout the year.
